Dr. Yang taught her patients with these skills and had very good results. You can just follow the course and step by step to help yourself getting better healthy and wellness with strong immunity.
These courses are used for the comprehensive plan patients, who come to EHE clinic once a week. Dr. Yang checks their healing and health progress and sees what their health needs the most that week, and gives them "homework"--self healing and self care at home. Those who have done their "homework" will usually recover from health problems very quickly and the immune system will become much stronger. Many patients have told Dr. Yang that they felt like themselves again. They felt more lively, energetic, and haven't felt this good in a long time! Besides what they learned from these "homework" assignments, this will benefit their whole life. Lots of women also used these knowledge and skills for their children and husbands. So I summarized the most important and helpful "homework", and organized them so that people can learn via online.
Eating & Drink
Key factors: temperature & Time
“After seeing so many patients, I found that over 90% of them did not have healthy eating & drinking habits (That's why I put this in the first lesson). The major reason behind this is due to the American eating culture: consuming too much cold/ice food and drinks, eating lots of deserts, skipping breakfast, having fast food for lunch, and big dinner portions, etc. All those habits are unhealthy and cause further health problems in the long term.”
Healthy eating and drinking should follow the Qi's movements in 12 meridians, and also need to protect Yang Qi, which includes the stomach and spleen Qi, etc.
I always told my patients what times to eat different meals, and the best food for optimal nutrition, and drinks that are good for their health, etc.

Healthy Lifestyle
Time is a key factory
Following the Qi/energy movement in the meridian path, where every 2 hours goes to a specific internal organ. These movement are in harmony with nature. Qi's movement has been proven to work for over 2000 years, but now people are distant from nature and rely themselves with high technology. Most of these lifestyles are not considered healthy. For example, following the Qi’s movement with nature, humans should sleep after dark around 7 or 8pm, and get up at dawn around 5 or 6am. But now most people sleep around midnight and wake after 9am.
In order to maintain our health, we have to follow the rhythm of nature and the Qi's movement.
Here’s a brief summary of the 24 hour Qi cycle:

3 a.m. to 5 a.m. is Lung time

5 a.m. to 7 a.m. is Large Intestine time

7 a.m. to 9 a.m. is Stomach time

9 a.m. to 11 a.m. is Spleen time

11 a.m. to 1 a.m. is Heart time

1 p.m. to 3 p.m. is Small Intestine time

3 p.m. to 5 p.m. is Urinary Bladder time

Detoxing
Environment & internal body

Toxins inside the body can cause lots of health problems and decrease our immune system. We need to clean and get rid of these toxins from our body.

In TCM terms, the toxin in our body mostly includes the "cold" (in the immunity video), dampness, blood, Qi's stagnations and blockages. These four symptoms are the most common causes for health problems at this time. Removing these toxins is like cleaning the trash in the river so that the water can move smoothly. After removing these toxins, the Qi/energy can move and function well in the meridian path.

Toxins comes from the environment and the most common one is high technology usage, including:

Even though the environment in this town is very beautiful, people still spend most of their time indoors. After the industrial revolution and technology developments, humans are more isolated from nature! This is also one of the major reasons why human immunity is weaker than before.
A tree can grow healthy only in a good environment with enough sun shine, water, good nutritious soil, etc. Humans are the same. Humans and nature are one. The key factors for a tree to grow healthy are similar to the human body.
Also, the natural environment is balanced and harmonious. The same as the internal environment for humans should be in harmony and balance too.
