Research have been showing that health lifestyle for healthy living plays a important roles for people's health. 

From my experiences in clinic practices, living in a health lifestyle is a key for recovery and keep health.

 

Health lifestyle that based on Traditional Chinese Medicine Theory has been practiced for over 2000 years, and people who follow it prove to live a healthier and longer live than average.  For an example, a family has a traditional that use moxibustion 8 days each month, and three generation had lived over 100 years old.  Also, the popular ones as sleep early, get up early; “Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper”, or take a talk after dinner, etc.  and Taiji, ba duanjin, 6 healting

Healthier eating habits

Level One: Basic
The basic requirement for recovering and keep your health. if a person cannot keep these basic healthy lifestyle, it is difficult for healing any problems or the problems will keep come back.  These are the basic requirements for keeping a person health. 
Health Living Daily Schedule 
  • Sleeping before 11pm (latest)
  • Get up before 9am (latest)
  • Eat breakfast before 9am
  • Lunch between 11am-1pm
  • Dinner around 5/6pm
  • Take a walk 30 minutes after dinner
  • Bask in the sun 2 hours/week (minimum)
Eating (Basic)
Warm
  • warm food
  • warm drink
Avoid:
  • Mint, Coconut, Cold milk, Almond, etc. 
  • Eat food directly from refrigerator
  • Water/soda with ice
Time & Amount:
“Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper”
  • Breakfast: before 9am  Nutrition
  • Lunch: 11am-1pm big meal
  • Dinner: around 5pm less
  • It's better that do not eat anything after dinner, especially not eat snack before bed.  If you really feel hungry, boiled milk would be good. 
Food:
Organic food, no processed whole food.
Indoor Humidity Level
  • Idea: 50%
  • Dryness: below 40%
    (dryness cause Lung Qi deficiency: cough,asthma,nose bleeding, dry skin, allergy, acne, etc.) 
  • Dampness: 60%
    (dampness cause spleen qi stagnation: loss appetite, stomach bloating, undigested, diarrhea, mental fogging, memory problems, hard to concentration, sleepy, etc.)
  • Keep indoor temperature as close as outside temperature. (less air conditioner/heater) or open windows for fresh air as much as you can. 
    • Winter: put a wet towel at bedroom or humidifier in living room
    • Summer: open windows in morning or evening or all daytime if possible
